We are 7 minutes from downtown New Paltz where there are abundant restaurants, markets, events, local brewery pubs and more. THE ARTHOUSE OFFERS GUESTS PRIVACY WITHOUT SACRIFICING CONVENIENCE.

The arthouse is on 14 acres of woodland with ample opportunity to hike, run + bike on country roads or state preserves.

the village of Gardiner is a couple of miles down the road with our post office, a really cool bar called the liquid mercantile, cafe mio; they make a great brunch + a few other local businesses like majestic hardware, the gardiner animal hospital, and a wine store!

DMWEIL art gallery

At over 3,000 square feet, the DM Weil Gallery is a short walk from the arthouse. right in the next driveway over at 208 Bruynswick road, it may be the largest modern art gallery in New York’s Hudson Valley. we are Just a short drive from the center of picturesque New Paltz, the DM Weil Gallery offers the look and vibe of an exclusive Soho style exhibition space, but with the majestic Shawangunk mountains as a backdrop.

Our goal is to provide a total entertainment experience, to stimulate all of your senses, and to help you have as much fun as possible during your visit. ADmission to dm weil’s gallery is always free and we encourage arthouse guests to stop by and say hello.

The gallery boasts a carefully restored 1911 grotrian Steinweg grand piano, which provides the basis for many of dm’s free miniconcerts + events. if you’re here on a weekend you can probably count on spending time with the artist herself.

For those with a deeper interest in the artistic process, tours of DM Weil’s adjacent studio are also available. Swing by for a glass of wine or a shot of espresso and we’ll introduce you to dm & her art.
